Religious Education
Parents are encouraged to enroll their adolescents into our religious education program every year that the teen is in school. This way the student can continue to grow in his faith as he matures throughout his teen years. We offer a variety of programming as follows:
Junior High Religious Education for students in 6th , 7th and 8th grades is held on Sundays from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The curriculum will be taken from the Center for Ministry Development Youth Ministry Access program and St. Mary’s Press Discovery.
Senior High Religious Education is held on Wednesdays from 7-9 PM. All teens are encouraged to attend a religious education program throughout their high school years so that they may nourish their faith at every level of their maturity. The 9th grade curriculum helps students develop their own personal faith by exploring the creed, a variety of personal prayer models, and an understanding of sacraments. 10th grade students prepare for Confirmation as described on the Confirmation Prep page to the left.
